One of the most popular New Year`s traditions in Greece is sharing the New Year cake (“Vasilopita”) with ones` friends and family. The cake includes a lucky coin bringing exceptional good luck to the one who finds it in his piece.
Loyal to the traditions, Danaos Athens office family held a casual event for celebrating the welcoming of the new year , in one of the most stylish retro decorated Athens Bistros, Tazza All day Bistro, located the center of the city.
The event included excellent food, lots of wine, relaxing moments for all the team, including its new members joining Danaos in 2023, such as Nikos Oikonomou (Contracting Manager), Kostas Lappas (Operations Manager) and Christina Charitopoulou (HR Manager), pleasant mood and ended up with a group photo!
The lucky coin was won by Ms. Christina Christaki (Customer Service Dept), to whom everyone wished the best of luck. Mr. Lyssandors Tsilidis, President of FedHatta Federation also honored Danaos with his presence, thanked all the team for its contribution to the tourism industry and wished all the best for the coming season.
